Life Balance with Amino Balance

Serotonin and GABA have a calming and inhibitory effect on the brain and on your mood, whereas dopamine and norepinephrine have a stimulating and excitatory effect on the brain and on your mood. The balance of these four neurotransmitters is critical to experiencing life with passion, energy, focus, and zest. One way to attain that important balance is with a complete amino acid blend.

The True Building Blocks of Life

How often do you think about Amino Acids? For most people, not-so-much! Well, your body “thinks” about them 100% of the time. While most of us have heard that amino acids are the building blocks of protein, do we really grasp their importance – that without them our bodies simply cannot make the proteins required by every living cell? In a sense, that makes amino acids the “building blocks” of our bodies! Is your body getting the amino acids it needs every day? Are you living your most vibrant life?

Customers: Be aware of fraudulent USPS package delivery messages sent by phone or email!

CUSTOMERS: Here is the link provided by the Postmaster as well as additional information regarding the recent warning posted on USPS website about the spam emails coming to customers:

https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/radDocs/consumer/SpamAlert.pdf

From the Postmaster:

BOGUS E-MAILS SENT TO POSTAL CUSTOMERS
Some postal customers are receiving bogus e-mails about a package delivery or online postage charges. The e-mails contain a link or attachment that, when opened, installs a malicious virus that can steal personal information from your PC.

The e-mails claim to be from the U.S. Postal Service and contain fraudulent information about an attempted or intercepted package delivery or online postage charges. You are instructed to click on a link, open the attachment, or print the label.

But Postal Inspectors warn: Don’t do it!

Like most viruses sent by e-mail, clicking on the link or opening the attachment will activate a virus that can steal information—such as your user name, password, and financial account information.

What to do? Simply delete the message without taking any further action. The Postal Inspection Service is working hard to resolve the issue and shut down the malicious program. If you have questions about a delivery or wish to report spam, please call 1-800-ASK-USPS or email spam@uspis.gov.

Genesa Customers may contact us for further information at 1-800-404-1065 or info@genesaliving.com.

Building Better Health: how micronutrient intake builds TOTAL health

The importance of micronutrient intake: amino acids, vitamins/minerals & omega 3 when building better health:

 The Building Blocks

As you know, amino acids are the “building blocks” for all cells in your body, including your brain, skeletal system, immune system, cardiovascular system and so on.  They can be compared to the materials required to build a house that you would find at a construction site, such as 2×4’s, 4×4’s, electrical wires, plumbing supplies, etc.

The Builders

Just as building a house requires more than the raw materials, other essential nutrients are required to work with the amino acids in building health and well being.  Imagine if all you had on a construction site were the materials – the job would go nowhere without the builders to actually build! This is similar to the way your body utilizes amino acids. Vitamins & minerals are essential “cofactors”.  They are the energizers and facilitators that take the amino acids from point A to point B in your body. That means a high-quality vitamin & mineral is required to get the job done – to act as the “builders” that take the materials (amino acids) and construct them into a “house”- a healthy, vibrant you!

The Glue

An important step in the building process involves another class of micronutrients called the essential fatty acids (EFAs), best know as omega 3 fish oil.  These EFA’s are essential for our health and well being as they promote a healthy brain, healthy skin, healthy heart, healthy immune system and so on. They are, in a sense, the “glue” to bind the cells together. EFA’s become the fat lining around your nerve cells, called myelin.  This allows efficient communications from the nerve cells to the body so that the whole house functions properly.    So, as important as amino acids are in your daily supplement routine, vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids play a significant role in your total health.

Allergy Answers – Part 5

So how can we use amino acids to treat the antibody responses? One of the most effective forms of allergy relief is supplemental histidine. Not only does histidine stimulate stomach acid secretion, it also regulates the ratio of helper cell to suppressor. This is a little surprising, as its histamine form is a central component of the allergy response – the flushing and inflammation. Histidine’s suppressor-helper balancing action actively prevents this allergic repines form occurring. Histidine supplementation can unblock nasal passages, resolve redness and swelling, and relieve the irritability, depression, and anxiety that often accompany an allergy response. When it comes to mitigating allergic responses, histidine is one of the best aminos you can take.

Allergy Answers – Part 4

Most allergies can be traced back to two related sources. The first is that the immune systems of as many as one person in ten produce more T-cell helpers than suppressors. These helper cells lead to the formation of increased numbers of antibodies, even though there may be no dangerous invading substances in the body. If these antibodies reacted exclusively to the substances they were designed to fight, this overproduction would be harmless. But, because invading substances change – viruses, for example, are constantly altering their structures – the defending antibodies must also be able to adapt in order to be effective. For this to happen, the structures of their connection sites allow for a certain latitude in what they latch on to. So when their numbers are abnormally increased by T-cell helpers, and in the absence of any harmful substances for them to attack, the antibodies might turn on almost anything as an invader. The result will be they symptoms of an immune response – headache, inflammation, fever – as the antibodies start reacting to the most innocuous, everyday substances: dust, pollen, foods, and even the body’s own tissue.

Allergy Answers – Part 3

An allergy is an abnormally heightened sensitivity to a substance (allergen) that is brought into contact with the body. The traditional view that this sensitivity can be traced back to a single cause, and steps taken to either avoid it or “desensitize” your body to it, it obsolete. There is such an incredible numb of allergens that in many people allergic reactions occur continually. A radical new approach is needed – one that strengthens the body’s entire metabolism, and in doing so mitigates its allergy-causing hypersensitivity. Over the past few years, amino acids have been used in this way with astonishing success. They attack the causes of allergies at their roots. By improving your digestion, removing damage-causing agents such as free radicals, and balancing the resources of your body’s immune system, they offer hope for literally millions of allergy sufferers.
