Wellness Blog: The Amino Revolution (Part 4)

To stay alive and healthy the body continuously uses energy. This energy, which has its ultimate origins in the sun, is made available to us thanks to the special biochemical transformations which we, as living creatures, are able to perform. In a young and healthy body these transformations are carried out in miraculously ordered way thanks to a supply of raw materials – vitamins, minerals, amino acids, essential fatty acids, and other metabolites – being dependent in highly elaborate ways, these biochemical transformations make the world’s most advanced computer look like a child’s toy. Each takes place in a series of chemical steps.

These chemical chains of events, which begin with a single molecule and proceed by changing one thing into another until your body has made the specific substance it needs for a particular purpose, are known as metabolic pathways – the means by which all life processes are carried out.

The healthy human body is a biological masterpiece with superbly balanced mechanisms!

Wellness Blog: The Amino Revolution (Part 3)

Amino acids, often called the “building blocks of protein,” make up a large portion of the human body, including muscle and protective tissue, and play a vital role in maintaining the biochemical balance that gives us energy and helps our organs function smoothly.

The use of free-form amino acids are a part of a total self-care approach to metabolic nutrition where vitamins, minerals and other natural substances are used to rectify whatever biological imbalances prevent someone from living at a high level of vitality and well-being.

It’s an approach which makes it possible not only to help an ailing body to heal itself but, even more important, to keep a well person well and to protect him from premature aging and degenerative illness.

Wellness Blog: The Amino Revolution (Part 2)

Many would say we have entered the Golden Age of medicine, in which the traditional medical boundaries are rapidly changing and we are beginning to focus on the causes of illnesses and ways to help the body heal itself. More and more, we are realizing that the physicl body is a complex, biochemical machine.

Nutritional medicine has become the new frontier in medicine and is dedicated to nontoxic, natural and safe care of our biochemical selves.

it is generally accepted that the body needs adequate amounts of certain vitamins and minerals in order to be “healthy”. Amino acids are important but often neglected, components of the magical balance we call health.

Wellness Blog: The Amino Revolution (Part 1)

While many people look for remedies in drugs, they completely overlook the body’s need for missing nutritional links. The effect of malfunction may be disease, but the cause of malfunction is deficiency. The true method of treatment should be to rectify cause, and not to quell the effect with drugs, thereby leaving the cause untreated.

Amino acids work as bodybuilding blocks, protectors of the cells, alleviators of pain, generators of ecstasy, and guardians of health. In fact, the whole process of well being depends on them. They can shield us from the modern world’s menaces of radiation and pollution, and can definitely present a way to combat the aging process. Free amino acids can also help against allergies and autoimmune diseases.
